These 6" Rulers are perfect for miniatures and foundation and paper piecing. The Lipped/raised Edge is 1/4" or 1/8" from the outside of the ruler edge. The raised lip catches the sewn seam line for easy fabric adjstment and then using your rotary cutter, trim the excess away and your seam allowance is automatically added. These rulers allow you to use your rotary cutter when foundation piecing to trim excess fabric and provide a straight line for placement of the next fabric piece.
